​Dr. Brignall is a naturopathic physician and educator with 20 years of experience in alternative and conventional medicine. At Link Community Clinic, he is passionate about providing patient care that includes the best options from both alternative and conventional models.

Dr. Brignall holds an ND degree from Bastyr University and completed his undergraduate pre-medical training at the University of Michigan. His post-graduate training included time at the Tahoma Clinic, Cascade Cancer Center at Evergreen Hospital, and Seattle Cancer Treatment and Wellness Center. Dr. Brignall has written numerous research articles and reviews, and is a frequent speaker at continuing education conferences.

As an instructor at Bastyr University, Dr. Brignall was instrumental in helping to update the traditional curriculum to include modern therapeutics as the scope of practice for naturopathic physicians in Washington State. Dr. Brignall taught oncology, pulmonary medicine, clinical nutrition, standards of practice, and medical ethics at Bastyr University. He also supervised the supportive cancer care rotations at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health for 15 years.

During the COVID-19 crisis, he worked with the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department on their disease response team. His duties included testing and outbreak control in nursing homes, leading mobile vaccine teams, and doing medical provider training outreach.

Dr. Brignall is a devoted parent of a disabled adult daughter. He is a mediocre jazz guitar player and has a collection of several thousand vinyl record albums. He also enjoys cooking, travel, and stealing cars (jk).
